The Economist Intelligence Unit - Healthcare, offers healthcare-focused market and business intelligence services complimented by strategic advisory to help medical device, pharmaceutical, iotechnology, and healthcare service firms understand their current and potential markets, and implement pragmatic and innovative strategies to ultimately tap into new growth opportunities.

The Shanghai office is currently seeking an HR freelancer to join our team as a Recruiter for freelancers and interns. In this role you will primarily work on supporting with recruitment operations

Accountabilities

How you will contribute:

  • Channel Management: Effectively manage recruitment channels to source potential candidates for different roles
  • Cold Calling: Conduct cold calls to identify and engage potential candidates
  • Scheduling Interviews: Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers
  • Making Offer Letters and Conduct Reference Checks
  • Candidate Pool Management: Maintain and expand our candidate pool, ensuring a robust database of qualified candidates

Experience, skills and professional attributes

The ideal skills for this role are:

  • Stellar communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably with some working experience in recruitment
  • Prior experience in the MedTech/Healthcare industry or a service agency is highly desirable
  • Ability to work 30 to 45 days prior to each project kick-off, with an overall commitment of approximately 4-5 months per year
  • Superior computer skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint a must
  • Excellent attention to detail, proactive, enthusiastic and professional attitude
