We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDeT) to support a mobile squad. 

 

The successful candidate will join the mobile squad in the middle of their journey and you will support them in programming, executing and monitoring:

 

  • test automation
  • testing standards
  • quality standards

Accountabilities

How you will contribute 

  • You will be responsible for managing and maintaining all test automation activities 
  • You will lead working with your stakeholders to ensure mobile test automation is executed as per the strategy 
  • You will lead monitoring test coverage of all test automation activities
  • You will collaborate with stakeholders to help define functional and non-functional test requirements 
  • You will take the lead in all things testing
  • You will lead defining ways to improve testing to continue to enable a shift left approach

Experience, skills and professional attributes

The ideal skills for this role include

  • You are an expert in test automation for different types of tests
  • You are an expert in helping maintain native mobile test automation frameworks for different types of testing
  • You are an expert in effectively integrating testing into CI/CD
  • You have solid understanding of the pros and cons of what tests to run where in CI/CD
  • You have solid programming experience in native mobile test automation frameworks; Compose UI Test and XCUITest
  • You have a solid understanding of the test pyramid
  • You have solid experience in using tools to report test results
  • You are a great communicator
