The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) sets the global standard for providing strategic analysis in matters of public policy for governments, NGOs, companies and international institutions in more than 200 countries. EIU’s expertise in country analysis, macroeconomic principles and forecasting methodologies has provided decision makers with critical information since 1946.
Currently we are seeking a Research Analyst for EIU Consulting’s Public Policy, Economics and Politics (PPEP) unit in London, who will work with the Regional Director and the rest of the research team to grow our business across the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
The Research Analyst will support projects for corporate, government and multi-lateral clients, all with a focus on the impact of public policy – insights, analytics, capacity and impact. This work employs new research, data and information gathering, but also builds on EIU’s core expertise in political economy work. PPEP project work and client deliverables focus on benchmarking studies/indices, strategy consulting, policy analysis, scenario planning, political and economic analysis, risk assessment, and economic modelling and forecasting work.
