Currently, CQ is seeking a Marketing Assistant.


The Marketing Assistant will support all aspects of Marketing operations. Responsibilities will include ensuring that various marketing programs are well organized and executed smoothly. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving traffic to our various web properties and ultimately to opt in to marketing programs.



In the role you would be expected to:


  • Organize exhibits at trade shows (ordering on time, mailing everything well in advance, making sure attendees have everything they need)
  • Organize in-house events (reserving rooms, ordering food, setting up and tearing down)
  • Coordinate with editorial to book speakers for all CQ Policy Briefings
  • Organize and post updates on Sales and Marketing activities around the office
  • Set up webinars in WebEx
  • Set up events in Eventbrite
  • Assist with execution of all webinars, in-house events, and DC-based external events
  • Assign leads as they come in from Marketo
  • Work with Digital Marketing Manager for Marketing Automation and with Sales teams to improve the content of lead-gen emails and the way that leads are displayed in SalesForce
  • Assist in the writing of emails and phone scripts for SalesLoft and deploys and maintains SalesLoft cadences
  • Conduct regular clean-up of Salesforce data as needed
  • Pull ZoomInfo and Leadership Directories lists as needed
  • Design and content work for print and web

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience writing copy for email
  • Design experience
