    We are seeking a Spanish speaking contract Telemarketing Sales Executive to work in our Events business.  The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in recruiting high-level attendees to our events, including paying and complimentary places.


    In the role you would be expected to: 

    • Contact prospective attendees to sell them paid delegate tickets for our events
    • Secure RSVP’s from VIP attendees (non-paid)
    • Research and determine prospective event attendees via LinkedIn, web search and internal CRM
    • Identifying opportunities to cross-sell across our events portfolio and actively encouraging group booking deals
    • Managing and nurturing relationships with key clients / repeat event bookers
    • Updating records and collecting new information/contact details
    • Lead generation for specific events; assisting with list research when needed
    • Responding to queries as and when required
    • Providing regular, timely feedback to the marketing team on number of calls made, pending bookings/hot prospects, any objections etc.
    • Liaise with attendees upon confirmation on event logistics, venue, etc.

    Experience, skills and professional attributes

    To succeed in the role you must have:

    • Strong sales skills, ideally in a conference/events/publishing background
    • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal telephone manner
    • Highly motivated
    • Superior time management skills, attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment, meeting multiple tight deadlines
    • Proven track record of success and ability to sell
    • Quick learner; able to grasp selling points across our events and sectors
    • A strong understanding of customer acquisition 
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience in Salesforce preferred
    • Strong inter-personal skills
    • Fluency in Spanish
    • An interest in business affairs, politics and economics
