    Currently, we are seeking a Production Coordinator to join our team in our New York office and act as a link between our clients and a wide range of TVC and Economist Publishing Group employees in order to coordinate the details of all client deliverables.  

     

    Accountabilities

    How you will contribute:

    • Be client facing and communicate clearly and succinctly, reacting positively to changing demands and aggressive deadlines, generate options for budget, approach, and timelines
    • Be highly proficienct in creating presentation decks using Keynote and/or PowerPoint

    • Meaningfully contribute in brainstorms to build high concept, breakthrough ideas that will build programs, content and events that go beyond expected solutions
    • Develop and write marketing and promotional pieces, including print, online, mobile, video; collateral materials; and internal and external corporate publications, craft copy, concepts and storyboards through presentations
    • Have an extensive knowledge and insatiable appetite for new platforms, technologies and all other trending topics that are related to the digital and social space
    • Collaborate with team members from our design studio, sales, events, editorial, and strategy departments to produce smart, powerful work
    • Manage project flows from start to finish, while maintaining records/files for all in-progress and completed work
    • Search for stock footage, music, and VO talent, oversee and update production calendars 
    • Oversee basic production duties, ie: maintaining proper documentation for all projects, included but not limited to releases, contracts, call sheets, invoices, handling outreach for filming locations, sourcing local crews and booking travel arrangements

    Experience, skills and professional attributes

    The ideal skills for this role are:

    • A bachelor’s degree at an accredited four year college or university in Communications, Digital/Social Media, Advertising, Marketing or equivalent
    • Be detail-oriented and organized, with a strong ability to manage multiple high priority projects and appropriately prioritize work with MS Office proficiency, especially in Excel and PowerPoint
    • Experience working with complex integrated content programs and a portfolio of successful case studies and examples to share
    • Self-motivation and ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
    • Constant entrepreneurial initiative along with strong project management and analytical skills to guide business strategy decisions
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, as well as active listening skills and a ‘here to help’ attitude, and fundamentally believe that we’re better together
    • Curiosity, business acumen, strong story-telling abilities and innovative thinking
