    We are recruiting an Account Service Manager in our Beijing office, to provide full administrative support to the ​Managing Director and ​Sales Director in all phases of the sales process and manage the daily sales operations of the department in effective and efficient manner.


    How you will contribute:

    • Provide administrative support to the 
      ​Managing Director and ​
      Sales Director
    • Manage new client acquisition process from prospects identification to arrangement of meetings at correct level
    • Create, update and translate sales materials
    • Create of creative materials
    • Own the relationship between The Economist and Operations staff within clients and agencies including but not limited to accounts, traffic, and voucher copies
    • Manage the implementation of client/agency events
    • Use readership research, subscriber studies, audit statement to help build and enhance our sales story

    Experience, skills and professional attributes

    The ideal skills for this role are:

    • Degree in business, economics, international studies or languages (preferred)
    • Minimum two years’ working experience in sales administrative support role
    • Proficiency in Word, Excel and Powerpoint
    • Familiarity with the Internet, intranets, extranets
    • Fluency in English with native Mandarin
