The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) is the research and analysis division of The Economist Group and the world leader in global business intelligence. The EIU helps leaders prepare for opportunity, empowering them to act with confidence when making strategic decisions. The EIU is the global standard in providing quality, actionable intelligence to the public and private sector, assessing issues that impact the marketplace in over two hundred countries.
Reporting to the CEO of the EIU with a dotted line to the Editor-in-Chief of the Economist newspaper, the Global Head of Research, Insight and Editorial will provide intellectual leadership and oversight across all of the businesses within the EIU portfolio, ensuring that all content produced for our clients is high quality, actionable insight which is consistent with the Economist’s brand values.
The Global Head of Research, Insight and Editorial will also directly lead all editorial staff within the EIU’s subscription and corporate network (ECN) businesses, working closely with the Commercial Director for Subscriptions and ECN.
