    We are looking for a Marketing Database Researcher to assist in the development of our client and prospect database. Focused and detail orientated, this person will enhance the quality of our data, and expand our customer database by identifying relevant job holders in target organisations.


    How you will contribute:

    • Understand business objectives and develop research briefs to meet marketing goals
    • Identify components of research requests, and suggest optimal research strategy
    • Conduct effective data searches across a wide variety of web sources
    • Map department and geographic structures of target organisations
    • Gather and update prospect and customer information (through secondary research and primary research) to build and maintain the marketing database
    • Handle projects which support marketing campaigns that drive sales leads
    • Undertake data mining, database management and database audit activities
    • Run required quality control processes to ensure data accuracy
    • Use CRM tools (Salesforce) for report generation and data analysis
    • Work with stakeholders to understand their requirement and process improvement
    • Work on Data Acquisition / Cleansing / De-duplication / Merging / Enhancement
    • Use telephone calls to collect and validate relevant information if required

    Experience, skills and professional attributes

    The ideal skills for this role are:

    • Experience in a similar role using and managing marketing databases
    • Familiarity with leveraging secondary data sources (e.g. Data.com and LinkedIn) to extract data for lead generation and corporate profiling
    • Advanced analytical skills to create insights from data
    • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM/ automation system
    • Excellent organisational abilities and ability to meet multiple deadlines
    • Good interpersonal skills within local team and wider global business
    • Appreciation of marketing activities and objectives, with a willingness to learn
    • Proficient with Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
    • Ability to multi-task and move between short and long term data requests/projects
    • Strong communications skills
