    As Business Development Manager, you will have the opportunity to sell bespoke business intelligence solutions comprising market, customer data and forecasts to our clients in the healthcare/ medical device industry globally. The ideal person will be an accomplished business development executive with excellent presentations skills, keen client insight and strong consultative sales skills. You will also be responsible for exceeding personal revenue targets whilst helping the larger business development team achieve overall goals.


    How you will contribute: 

    • Create qualified opportunity pipeline through relationship building, matching client needs with EIU capabilities
    • Identify and present to potential new accounts within assigned territory
    • Work with your Senior Manager to develop, implement and adhere to personal business plan
    • Prepare regular sales reports, noting calls made per month, sales invoiced, pipeline, monthly, quarterly, and end year forecasts
    • Keep up to date with the EIU portfolio and the competitive marketplace

    Experience, skills and professional attributes

    The ideal skills for this role include:

    • Proven business development experience, ideally within a consultative and B2B sales environment
    • A proven track record of selling business intelligence solutions to C-Level or Director level of corporations is preferable
    • A proven track record in new business development and experience closing complex six figure deals
    • The confidence to approach people at all levels of seniority
    • An ability to thrive upon expectation and exposure
    • Excellent technical and software skills (ie Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce, etc)
    • Passion in the healthcare industry
    • Attention to detail and an enthusiasm for new ideas and challenges
    • A willingness to travel and ability to organize trips effectively
