As the research and analysis division of the Economist Group, The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) helps leaders prepare for opportunity, empowering them to act with confidence when making strategic decisions. The EIU is the global standard in providing quality, actionable intelligence to the public and private sector, assessing issues that impact the marketplace for over two hundred countries.
This is a new role and will be instrumental in supporting the EIU's strategy to build a healthcare research business. The BDE will work in partnership with the Business Development Manager (BDM) to grow and manage the designated territory. The goal is to support the BDM to meet and exceed their sales goals for the region. This job has multiple dimensions and requires someone who can manage client relations, leads prospecting, and the overall sales activities of the territory.
