    EIU logo

    The Economist Corporate Network (ECN) is the emerging markets advisory service of The Economist Group. We help multinational and local companies to deepen their understanding of the politics, economics and business environment in key emerging markets. We work with them to assess risks, opportunities, trends and issues of importance and how to respond to them.

    The service is delivered in many ways:

    • Through regular reports and data (covering key economies and business issues);
    • Through a programme of meetings that create the opportunity to hear from The Economist Group experts, from invited outside experts, and from peers within the network;
    • Through ad hoc research into specific business issues, markets and ideas;
    • Through private briefings delivered to clients at their management and strategy meetings.

    ECN is only for senior-level executives, and hence is also an important opportunity for members of the service to engage and network with their peers at other companies and organisations.

    We are recruiting a six-month research analyst based in Singapore.

    How you will contribute:

    • Work with the ECN Director to create and deliver the ECN programme in South-east Asia to a high quality;
    • Undertake desk research to support the ECN research agenda and events programme;
    • Source, secure and coordinate with outstanding speakers able to deliver expert insights for the ECN events programme;
    • Create written collaterals, invitations and marketing materials for ECN events, to the quality and style demanded by the Economist Group;
    • Assist with management and coordination of ECN research projects and events;
    • Initiate phone conversations and email correspondences with thought-leaders and contributors to the ECN research programme.
