Our Ad Operations team is seeking a Campaign Manager to ensure that all US advertising campaigns go live on time and deliver in full. In this role you will be a key touch point for the sales teams, enabling them from a technical standpoint. This is achieved through the booking of complex campaigns, managing performance and delivery once campaigns are live, and handling complex client reporting. Additionally, this role will serve as the escalation point for the US trafficking teams, and will aid them when technical expertise is required.

Accountabilities

In this role you would be expected to:

 

 

Campaign setup & co-ordination

 

  1. Help setup complex proposals in our sales management system (Operative One)
  2. Aid in chasing, troubleshooting and trafficking creative in GAM 360, where advanced technical skills are required
  3. Proactively review campaigns assets (Creatives, I.Os and tags), identify potential errors, and troubleshoot as necessary
  4. Work with Agencies to ensure creative work as designed and adhere to our advertising specifications
  5. Provide bespoke screenshots or video grabs where necessary
  6. Manage or aid with production process for bespoke and integrated advertising campaigns 

Campaign Management

 

  1. Manage or aid with production and delivery process for bespoke and integrated advertising campaigns
  2. Proactively manage campaign delivery to minimize revenue loss due to under delivery
  3. Closely monitor and manage bespoke or integrated campaigns to deliver against their unique performance goals
  4. Work closely with clients, operations manager, and sales teams to ensure campaigns start on time 

Support

  1. Work closely with clients, operations manager, and sales teams to ensure campaigns start on time
  2. Setup new products and packages in the sales management tool (Operative one)
  3. Assist sales teams with interpreting and using inventory reporting
  4. Support sales with ad hoc Operative One requests that require technical expertise
  5. Be a main point of contact on US day to day operations 

Reporting

  1. Participate in and contribute towards key ad operations projects
  2. Produce custom campaign reports that require more detail than standard reporting setup by trafficking team.
  3. Assist ad operations manager with ad hoc GAM360 and Operative One reports used for technical or commercial decision making

 

Experience, skills and professional attributes

Ideal skills for this role are: 

  • Experience in publisher advertising operations, using Google suite to traffic, troubleshoot, manage and optimise campaigns (essential)
  • Experience in using Operative One is highly desired. Knowledge and experience in programmatic SSPs or DSPs is beneficial, but not essential
  • A strong track record of supporting sales teams operationally, as well as successfully aiding remote teams across multiple time zones.
  • An expert understanding of rich media and standard advertising formats including their setup and implementation
  • An understanding of how rich media and standard advertising formats formats are trafficked, the troubleshooting of the ad tags, as well as the tracking pixels etc. that they use
  • Basic HTML/CSS experience/understanding is desirable
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential to perform the reporting function of this role, and Powerpoint skills desired
