    We are recruiting for a Marketing Executive to work in our Global Events business. Marketing Executive based in Gurgaon to work across and support Marketing Managers accross multiple campaigns and events with over $1Million delegate revenue targets.

     

    Accountabilities

     

    How you will contribute:

    • Execute activity via a mix of marketing channels on a range of events in support of marketing managers, based globally.
    • Plan out and lead the marketing strategy for a variety of events, including executing the event marketing plan, working to a set budget and using a range of marketing channels to achieve set KPIs (i.e. event delegate revenue target, high-level guest acquisition)
    • Undertake outbound email marketing via Eloqua EMS, creating and scheduling communications with approved target audience and message content. Work to KPI of 40% of delegate revenue and VIP registrations to come from email marketing
    • Establish relationships with marketing partners including business associations, chambers of commerce, academic institutes. Work to KPI of 10-15% of revenue to come from partners
    • Assist Marketing Managers to manage relationship with PR agencies, broadcast and media partners as required
    • Run data reports on CRM systems. Conduct research and undertake data mining to fill gaps following brief from Marketing Manager, qualifying the leads where possible
    • Support the Marketing Manager on Run event social media activity to generate leads. Work to KPI of a 20% conversion rate
    • Data gather for post event marketing summary documents including, but not limited to; web and email analytics, delegate survey responses, print and digital advertising, press coverage reports from PR agencies, in a timely manner and in collaboration with Marketing Manager
    • Provide assistance with direct marketing tasks as and when required, track inbound queries / brochure download
    • Create and implement an event lead generation plan to assist with converting inbound contacts to paid ticket sales and high-level guest attendance
    • Help undertake competitive analysis across industries

    Experience, skills and professional attributes

     

    The ideal skills for this role are:

    • Proven relevant marketing experience (e.g. direct and/or events marketing, with preference given to those with conference marketing experience and industry events)
    • A strong understanding of customer acquisition, online marketing and new media channels
    • Experience using marketing and analytics systems such as Google Analytics, Eloqua, Salesforce, Cvent (or equivalents) and back-end website editing tools like Wordpress
    • Excellent written English and proof-reading skills
    • Commitment to standards of excellence with attention to detail
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize accordingly and work to tight deadlines
    • An interest in current affairs
