We are seeking a Junior Digital Communications Executive to help us devise the right strategies to distribute our content and deliver campaigns that meet our clients' objectives. 

This is an exciting opportunity for someone keen to make their mark in a creative team, hone their digital marketing skills and work in a fast-paced environment.

Accountabilities

How you will contribute: 

 

  • Contribute to pre-sale proposals to ensure we are putting forward marketing solutions that both meet client/agency objectives and engage target audiences 
  • Estimate paid social media KPIs and be able to articulate and defend rationale behind chosen channels, tactics and strategies
  • Manage the distribution of our sponsored content through our paid social and email marketing channels
  • Closely monitor campaigns and optimise their delivery in real time
  • Stay on top of latest marketing developments and trends to ensure we are following best practices in all our campaigns
  • Ensure content distribution campaigns meet the requirements and expectations of our clients
  • Collaborate with the digital team to ensure clients receive timely and accurate performance metrics on campaigns and ensure reports are presented in a clear, concise way
  • Collaborate with editors and designers to ensure content is audience focussed, engaging and helps deliver against KPIs

Experience, skills and professional attributes

Ideal skills and abilities for this role are:

 

  • Bachelors' degree in marketing and communications or similar 1-2 years' experience in an agency or publisher environment a bonus 
  • Active user of social channels with a strong knowledge of each major platform 
  • An understanding of content marketing and how audiences respond to different formats 
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Numerate and accurate with strong foundation in data analysis
  • Excellent online, database and computer skills, including powerpoint 
  • Confident and professional manner when dealing with clients and internal stakeholders
