The analytics and insights function sits as part of a global commercial product development and digital delivery team, and is responsible for a full cycle reporting from setting tracking requirements and implementation of tags through to gathering client reporting requirements and providing reporting and insights on existing campaigns. We are looking for someone who can work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.  This would be an ideal role for an enthusiastic, task-orientated Digital Reporting Analyst, who shows initiative in finding solutions to business needs. 

 

The analyst will bring technical expertise to ensure the quality and accuracy of the data, then process, design and present it in a way to help people make better decisions. The role is highly dynamic and involves working on different projects across global accounts.

Accountabilities

How you will contribute?

 

  • Be responsible for all aspects of client reporting on a project (setting KPIs, analytics requirements, working with project teams, setting up reporting templates and schedule)
  • QA custom event tracking using a debug console, problem-solving against tight schedules
  • Provide consultative advice to internal and external stakeholders on effective integrated reporting solutions
  • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to other team members and the wider team
  • Identify, evaluate and implement external services and tools to support data new tracking initiatives and data validation and cleansing
  • Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes
  • Create data dashboards, graphs and visualisations and build them into presentations and documents as needed
  • Mine and analyse large datasets, draw valid inferences and present them using a reporting tool
  • Developing best practices for digital solutions in general and taking ownership of integrated reporting projects
  • Provide sector and industry benchmarking analyses and reports

  • Strong in mathematical and analytical thinking and ability to quickly group items into categories and subcategories based on similarities, see patterns in data
  • A person with a genuine passion for digital and data with a keen sense of future developments
  • Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple stakeholders with conflicting priorities
  • Ability to present reports to external parties and to explain analytics in simple terms

 

Relevant technical skills include:

 

  • Strong numerical background (Math, Computer Science, Economics, Information Management, Excel Macros, RegEx functions, …)
  • Proven experience with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 
  • Knowledge and/or experience working with Python (data Analysis), SQL, JavaScript would be a considered a strong plus
  • Data visualization tools - should have good understanding of sourcing of data and key requirements for data cleansing works
  • Experience with a debug console (example: GA Debugger)
  • Knowledge of data visualisation and presentation tools (such as PowerPoint, Google Slides, Flourish, Tableau, R Shiny)
  • Experience with other reporting tools (Heatmaps, Video reporting (Brightcove, YouTube), Social media reporting etc.) - preferable
