We are looking for a  Marketing Executive for our GBF portfolio - working across the 3 GBF’s and the GBF Hub (worth over 4million GBP) supporting the Senior Marketing Manager on events delivery and execution.

 

Note: This is a contract role until 31 March 2022

Accountabilities

How you will contribute:

 

  • Execute marketing plan via a mix of marketing channels in support of Senior Marketing Manager based in Dubai
  • Must be able to work to a set budget and achieve set KPIs (i.e. event delegate target, high-level guest acquisition)
  • Undertake outbound email marketing via Eloqua EMS (or equivalent), creating and scheduling communications with approved target audience and message content. Work to KPI of 60% of delegate conversion rate and VIP registrations to come from email marketing
  • Establish relationships with marketing partners including business associations, media partners and academic institutes
  • Assist Senior Marketing Manager to manage relationship with the client and media partners as required
  • Run data reports on CRM systems. Conduct research and undertake data mining to fill gaps following brief from Senior Marketing Manager
  • Promote the events on social media to generate awareness and drive traffic to the website including launching sponsored posts
  • Generate reports to track inbound queries / brochure downloads 
  • Provide assistance with direct marketing tasks as and when required
  • Create and implement an event lead generation plan to assist with converting inbound contacts to onsite or virtual attendees
  • Help undertake competitive analysis across industries
  • Undertake analysis for post event marketing summary documents including, but not limited to; web and email analytics, delegate survey responses, print and digital advertising, press coverage reports from PR agencies, in a timely manner and in collaboration with Senior Marketing Manager

Experience, skills and professional attributes

 

Ideal skills for this role include:

 

  • Proven relevant marketing experience (2+ years) (e.g. direct and/or events marketing, with preference given to those with conference marketing experience and industry events)
  • Experience using marketing and analytics systems such as Google Analytics, Eloqua, MailChimp, Salesforce, Cvent (or equivalents) and back-end website editing tools like Wordpress
  • Experience with client management
  • A strong understanding of customer acquisition, digital marketing and new media channels
  • Excellent written English and proof-reading skills
  • Commitment to standards of excellence with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize accordingly and work to tight deadlines
