We are looking for a senior sales person who has account management experience and can demonstrate a track record of growing an account base through organic sales activity.

Accountabilities

How you will contribute:

  • Manage a set of global and regional accounts and add value to our working business relationships
  • Sell across our core scheduled events and custom products
  • Seek out new opportunities within the defined account set
  • Qualify sales opportunities and potential customer partnerships
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline by proactively driving activity via self-generated opportunities as well as by following up on marketing leads
  • Prepare regular sales reports including activity, pipeline, sales invoiced as well as monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts

Experience, skills and professional attributes

The ideal skills for the role:

  • Prior experience of selling in B2B environment
  • Previous experience in events is preferred and a background in financial markets would be advantageous
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and communicate effectively at all levels
  • A strong commercial awareness and business acumen
  • The ability to effectively manage customer relationships/accounts and find new business opportunities from within
  • Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit in finding and developing new opportunities
  • Exceptional networking skills – able to penetrate target customer accounts in order to drive the right engagement to win business
