Currently we are seeking an Accountant (contract) to support our Asia Finance team for a six-month period. The successful candidate will be based in Hong Kong and be responsible for providing all rounded support to Asia Finance team in relation to finance and accounting functions.



How you will contribute:

  • Assist with tax filing and statutory audit
  • Liaise and coordinate with external auditors/consultants and internal parties
  • Handle month-end closing, cashflow forecast, balance sheet schedules and internal reporting
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of accounting data and records
  • Assist with other projects as required by supervisor

Experience, skills and professional attributes

The ideal skills for this role are: 

  • Degree in Accounting or related disciplines
  • Ideally 2 years auditing and accounting experience; recent graduates with relevant internship/working experience can also be considered
  • Knowledge of financial reporting and corporate tax
  • Computer literacy (Good Excel skill)
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English & Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
  • Membership or student membership of recognized professional accountancy bodies (HKICPA, ACCA or equivalent)
  • PRC and regional exposure is a plus
