Currently we are looking for an experienced Finance Systems Manager who will have the responsibility for providing support to Group Finance colleagues globally but with a particular focus on functions of reporting and accounting, purchase to pay and order to cash activities in our Gurugram office. The successful candidate will set up and train users on the Group’s ERP system (currently Peoplesoft) and will also support users with other business systems (Zuora, Naviga, Salesforce, CVENT, Anaplan) working closely with colleagues in the Technology and Product teams. A key remit of the role will be to support users with reporting and query analytics, ensure system integrity and resolve issues. There will be certain system administration duties within the role. A key initiative within the Group Finance team is to transform the finance function once accounting and operations are centralised within Gurguram. Accordingly, the Analyst will have a pivotal role working in the Finance Process and Systems team focused on delivering new system implementations, process improvements and automation of manual processes.

Experience, skills and professional attributes

  • - At least 5 years experience providing functional support including knowledge of P2P, OTC and accounting system modules

    - ERP system admin and support with Peoplesoft experience, an advantage

    - Systems implementations

    - Liaison with user groups

  • Assist Shared Services with financial reporting and analysis through system queries

  • Complete subsidiary ledger reconciliations and resolve issues

  • Checking the integrity of data and monitoring of overnight batch jobs.

  • Assist finance users with journal upload and correction.

  • Foreign exchange rates are entered on a timely basis and ledgers are translated at month end.

  • Own ERP system chartfield and coding structure and assist business to ensure most appropriate coding structure in place.

  • Closing of period end ledgers and roll forward.

  • Create financial reports from system and amend report layouts as requested

  • Monitor and respond to support queries from the business (General ledger, AP, AR, Banking].

  • Set and maintain security and system access levels.

  • Regular liaison with colleagues in Finance System, Technology and Product teams.

  • Perform role on finance projects including new system implementations, integrations, upgrades and process improvement / automation initiatives

  • Support FP&A with data requests for Anaplan

  • Liaison with Group Internal Audit and respond to control issues arising.

  • Control leavers and joiners and ensue appropriate authorization.

  • Deliver training on finance and business systems to users
