At the Economist Intelligence Unit’s Healthcare Division (EIU HC), we believe that actionable strategy for our client is built on the basis of market realities, where data insights and its robust analytics drive informed decisions. For that reason, we have developed a data-centric market tracker solutions called, The Gateway that aims to provide the medtech sector with credible, actionable and granular size, share and growth insights globally.
To this end, we are looking to fill an Associate Manager/Manager who will be part of The Gateway team, that will manage a team of analysts to ensure the development of the market data solutions in line with our overall business vision and objectives, as well as manage client stakeholders requiring our data and services.
In this role, he/she will be reporting to the Director, The Gateway.

As part of the Economist Impact global sales structure, the Government, Energy, Infrastructure and Industrial (GEII) Category will develop integrated thought leadership and strategy partnerships across public and private sector organizations. Public sector organizations may include global foundations, multilaterals, governments and NGOs. The role will require an understanding of the key issues, challenges and strategies of the energy, infrastructure and industrial verticals as well as leveraging direct and indirect senior stakeholder networks and relationships.
Given the breadth of this category and the opportunities in both the US and Europe this role can be supported from either our DC or London offices for the appropriate candidate.
Reporting to the Global Category Lead, this role is instrumental in supporting the continual growth of the division with key accounts and new clientele within the category. This person will be an integral part of the global team selling a range of policy research and marketing solutions that support client strategies and drive impact across our key areas of work, Sustainability, Healthcare and New Globalisation The role will also serve as an advisor to our clients and internal teams in the creation of strategic, impactful programmes.
The person will have strong consultative skills, identifying customer needs, crafting effective proposals in conjunction with the practice team and presenting TEG’s proven ability to deliver impactful solutions. This also entails demonstrating success in building an organic pipeline through new project development, client issued RFPs and strategic partnerships. Lastly, the successful candidate will also be able to navigate complex corporate and public sector structures, driving relationships as the category’s commercial lead for designated key accounts and prospecting opportunities with new organizations across the category.
