The CIO and other functional leaders are responsible for functional excellence, career paths, incentive structures as well as consistency in tone, platforms and tools.    To align with the matrix business structure, we have defined a new technology matrix structure leveraging functional excellence to support delivery leaders responsible for designing, changing and supporting technology within specific technical domains and on behalf of multiple business units.     The Platform Solution Architect will report directly to the Chief Architect, be a member of the Group Technology Team and is responsible for inputting to the roadmap and platform architecture design for the group’s technology estate as well as enabling technology delivery of continual improvements to the platform through our engineering & platform teams.    The Platform Solution Architect will work on solutions and technical roadmaps for the platform & product teams, ensuring dependencies & platform capabilities are delivered to support our product development teams as well as contributing to key transformation projects.  Working closely in collaboration with all product & platform delivery teams across the newly defined group-wide technology matrix organisation you will partner with our tech leads & product owners in the platform & mission teams to action the technical changes required to deliver their roadmaps. Now the core capabilities are live, we are continuing to enhance our business and platform capabilities to better meet the needs of our customers.   We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join The Economist Group’s Project Management Office (PMO) team to manage the portfolio of work across the B2C platform.  The PM in this role will work closely with, and support, the commercial business owner to prioritise and manage a portfolio of work that covers both new, cross functional and supplier resourced initiatives, and bug-fixes.  They will work closely with a number of our key Product teams, Service Delivery and QA, and, critically, our Platform Team who manage our Salesforce, Limio and Zuora platforms.  They will be experienced in the delivery of business critical projects across large Salesforce platforms and ideally have experience of Zuora implementations.    This role will have a clear focus on understanding the business vision, priorities and how they align and overlap with the priorities of other initiatives to ensure we focus our portfolio of work and our delivery effort on the actions that drive the desired and agreed business outcomes.
