This is currently a team of 4 designers who work in our registrations, conversions, subscriber engagement and my account teams. You will pair with peers in engineering and product management to raise the bar of design, experience and product thinking in teams that are re-imagining and optimising crucial steps in our subscription funnel and increasing subscriber engagement and retention.    Your role will be to connect the product strategy with the product teams across our Customer Journey area. This will be through producing end-to-end impactful designs for strategically important initiatives as well as managing and motivating designers to deliver outstanding work. Alongside other Lead Designers, you will create a joined-up experience across our touchpoints and improve the approach and methods that drive high quality work. This role combines IC and managerial responsibilities.   You’ll be able to demonstrate experience working with subscription business models, running workshops, working from discovery through to delivery and driving high quality design work within teams. From user research to wireframes and user flows through to testing and validation - you’ll be responsible for working end-to-end.   You’ll be supported by a friendly and inclusive design team who have the autonomy to define and improve processes and care deeply about developing each other's capabilities. This role will work in a Finance Transformation project that started in early 2022. We have already worked through a discovery phase with an external partner to progress our thinking; both immediate opportunities and longer term strategic changes; and the work falls into two broad areas. We are looking to rethink, streamline and automate the capabilities we perform within the finance team to support a modern international media business. In addition we are looking to develop the way in which we collaborate with our business teams to form an insight based partnership to better support their decisions. This role will focus on understanding the change journeys facing different business teams by engaging with the teams, management groups and the programme team to coach or communicate as necessary.
