We are developing a world-class product and design organisation and have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Product Designer to help us define and develop the user experience across our web products.   About the role: We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer focussing on our web products - creating the best user experience across economist.com, our newsletters and design system. You will be part of a team that is re-imagining how subscribers consume our content on the web and showcasing the breadth of our content.     You’ll be embedded in a cross functional team of Engineers and a Product Manager. Your role will be to produce end-to-end user experiences and create design deliverables ready for engineering. Your work will uphold The Economist brand digitally, maintaining a high bar of visual quality whilst ensuring technical constraints are considered to create intuitive user flows.   You’ll be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge and experience designing content experiences for the web, comfortable sketching, creating prototypes and working through fidelity quickly.  From user research to wireframes and user flows through to testing and validation - you’ll be responsible for working end-to-end.    You’ll be supported by a friendly and inclusive design team who have the autonomy to define and improve processes and care deeply about developing each other's capabilities.   Location This role is based in our London office (The Adelphi, 1-11 John Adam St, London WC2N 6HT).    We offer flexible working and have systems in place to ensure working remotely when the need arises. However during the current Covid-19 situation, we are all remote, the intention is that when we are ready we will move back to spending more time in the office than not.

To support the FP&A efforts in providing pertinent and timely analysis of the financial performance of the organisation on a global basis, providing forward thinking cross functional analysis,  new innovative solutions across the Group and identifying opportunities for enhancements in the current reporting and modelling systems. The Anaplan Planning & Reporting Manager will report to the Head of FP&A to lead and support across the Group, working closely with the other finance teams – commercial, reporting and accounting.   The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; will be a creative, commercially focused and analytical problem solver. This role is one of the most senior intellectual and analytical roles in the EIU, ensuring that our forecasts are the best available for decision-makers. You will manage a small team of senior analysts who ensure global consistency of the work of our wider team, and also manage our Economics and Data Unit.   You would be expected to have influence over a much larger team of analysts, while also being a leading communicator of our forecast to clients and the wider public. EIU Healthcare is able to provide high quality global healthcare data and insight. This entails a full suite of solutions, from assessing growth opportunities for industry to understanding the effectiveness and value of healthcare interventions, on both advanced and emerging economies.   Currently we are seeking a highly motivated and talented Business Development Manager to join our fast-growing Healthcare business.  This role will be instrumental in leading commercial sales of EIU Healthcare’s suite of data-centric and market insights solutions to Medtech and Life Sciences clients across the US market.     The ideal candidate will have strong sales skills to Medtech or Healthcare accounts, but be equally comfortable prospecting and building new business leads.  They will be expected to engage with senior decision makers across a range of functions.  The Business development manager will be expected to become an expert on our solutions and capabilities, to win business and engage key accounts.
