The Client Advocate will be responsible for driving integrated client campaigns, overall ownership of the client relationship and fostering collaborative and mutually supportive relationships with internal stakeholders. They will work closely with colleagues in Sales, Create, Amplify and Marketing to deliver superior service to our clients.
The Client Advocate will lead client engagements involving multiple Economist Group business units for NA clients. Client handling responsibilities include overall client satisfaction ranging from campaign execution, performance, and client communication. Introduction to the role
We are seeking a Senior Delivery Lead to join The Economist Group’s Project Management Office. The role will help plan, manage and deliver the roadmap across our Apps product group, which looks at developing experiences to enable subscribers to get the most out of their Economist subscription. The SPM Internal Platforms will be responsible for the range of internal systems (including but not limited to CMS, scheduling, data visualisation, forecasting system etc) that are critical to the creation of EIU’s data and analysis. We are seeking a Senior Communications Manager to join our world-class team. They will be based in New York but will work closely with Communications colleagues in America, Europe and, potentially, other regions. Their primary aim will be to secure a regular stream of high-quality coverage for The Economist’s journalism and journalists across a range of US outlets, including broadcasters, print publications, online news sources and digital destinations ranging from Twitter to Substack, to ensure our brand reaches new and distinctive audiences, including our next generation of subscribers. They will be a true newshound who has several years’ experience as a journalist, or at a PR agency or news outlet who thinks like a journalist, and who can persuade journalists to write positively about our brand.
This person will be a key member of the Communications team but will be embedded within our newsroom in New York. They will work closely with reporters and editors around America and in our main newsroom in London, with whom they will build strong relationships and communicate on a daily basis. They should have a strong interest in, and understanding of, news on a local, regional and global stage, as well as knowledge of digital media relations, social media and influencer outreach.
